Supply Shop Attendant

About the Role

Burkes is seeking a Supply Shop Attendant to join our team in Brent, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, handling shipping and receiving, maintaining an organized shop environment, and delivering materials to designated job sites and locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, label, sort, and ship tools, parts, and supplies.

• Deliver supplies and tools to work sites.

• Restock.

• Ensure supply shop floor and storage areas are clean, organized, and safe.

• Pull and prepare orders accurately.

• Follow safety and compliance guidelines for handling materials.

• Assist with periodic inventory audits and reports as needed.

• Drive forklift to load and unload stock.

• Drive pickup truck with trailer for local and out of town deliveries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Strong organizational skills

• Attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to lift, carry and move items as needed (including reaching, bending , stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods)

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Must pass an annual drug test
